Neutrality Policy
The principle of neutrality is a fundamental cornerstone on which the quality and credibility of the services provided by the Halal Global Training Center are based. Accordingly, the Center is fully committed to applying the highest standards of neutrality and objectivity in all training, assessment, and certification activities, ensuring that all decisions are made solely on the basis of objective criteria, free from any undue influence or conflict of interest.
This policy is binding on all employees, assessors, examiners, evaluators, and collaborators, and constitutes an integral part of the Center’s Quality Management System.
Principles of Commitment
The Halal Global Training Center undertakes to:
1. Conduct all certification activities with complete neutrality and ensure that decisions to grant, refuse, suspend, or withdraw certification are based exclusively on objective evidence.
2. Safeguard independence from any financial or commercial influence and ensure that neutrality is never compromised by financial considerations in certification or assessment processes.
3. Guarantee equal opportunities for all applicants without discrimination on the basis of gender, nationality, religion, affiliation, or any other personal consideration.
4. Ensure that training activities delivered or supervised by the Center do not compromise the neutrality or integrity of assessment and certification processes.
5. Identify and document all potential risks that may affect neutrality, whether arising from internal or external activities.
6. Periodically assess such risks and implement appropriate preventive or corrective actions to mitigate or eliminate their impact.
7. Monitor contractual relationships and associated activities to prevent conflicts of interest.
8. Apply a clear mechanism for addressing any identified conflict of interest, including exclusion of the concerned individual from decision-making or reallocation of tasks to maintain integrity.
9. Review risk assessments at least once annually or whenever significant organizational or operational changes occur.
10. Require all employees, assessors, and examiners to disclose in writing any personal interests or relationships that may affect their neutrality.
11. Require all employees, examiners, and collaborators to sign the Declaration of Commitment to Approved Policies, which explicitly includes disclosure of any existing or potential conflict of interest.
12. Prohibit any individual involved in certification decision-making from providing training or consultancy services to the same candidates they are evaluating.
13. Hold top management fully responsible for ensuring and monitoring neutrality in all training, assessment, and certification activities, in addition to taking appropriate actions in cases of non-compliance.
14. Communicate this policy to all employees, assessors, examiners, collaborators, and stakeholders through training and continuous communication to ensure their full awareness and understanding of its requirements.
15. Ensure that neutrality procedures include a clear mechanism for addressing any violations of neutrality, including reassignment of tasks, corrective actions, or exclusion of individuals from certification activities when necessary.
16. Review neutrality procedures and risks on a regular basis to ensure their ongoing effectiveness and continual improvement.
7. Document and retain all records related to risks, disclosures, and corrective actions within the Quality Management System as official evidence of compliance with neutrality.
8. Review this policy at least once annually or whenever significant changes occur in scope or activities to ensure its continued effectiveness and relevance.
